Improve the vulcanization process:
In the vulcanization process of silicone rubber, high-purity magnesium oxide plays an important role. It can react with the vulcanizing agent in the rubber to generate magnesium sulfide, promote the vulcanization reaction, increase the hardness and strength of the rubber, and improve the overall performance of silicone rubber products.
Enhanced mechanical properties:
By adding high-purity magnesium oxide, the mechanical properties of silicone rubber can be significantly improved. This includes improving the hardness and strength of silicone rubber by increasing the content of fillers, and optimizing properties such as tensile strength, tensile elongation at break, and thermal conductivity of silicone rubber by adjusting the amount and particle size of magnesium oxide.
Improve weather resistance and chemical resistance:
The addition of high-purity magnesium oxide can also improve the weather resistance and chemical resistance of silicone rubber. Since magnesium oxide itself has excellent antioxidant properties, adding it to silicone rubber can enhance the weather resistance of silicone rubber, allowing it to maintain stable performance in harsh environments.
Increased magnetic susceptibility, removal impurities from steel
Magnesium oxide can react with silicon dioxide on the surface of silicon steel to form an excellent insulating layer of magnesium silicate, which improves magnetic susceptibility and removes impurities such as nitrogen and sulfur from the steel.
