Enhancement of fire resistance of coatings

Magnesium oxide has a high refractory temperature and can be added to coatings to effectively enhance their refractory properties. This enables the coating to remain stable and not easily burned or deformed in a high temperature environment, thus protecting the coated object from high temperature damage.

 

Reduces sedimentation and delamination of paint during storage and use

Magnesium oxide has a high hardness and adding it to coatings can significantly increase the hardness of the coating. This helps to enhance the abrasion resistance and scratch resistance of the coating and prolong the service life of the coating. At the same time, the addition of magnesium oxide helps to improve the stability of the coating and reduce the phenomena of precipitation and delamination of the coating during storage and use. Viscosity modifier

Magnesium oxide can be used as a viscosity regulator for coatings, and by adjusting its additive amount, the viscosity of the coating can be effectively controlled, making it easier to construct and apply. In addition, due to the obvious small size effect, surface effect and quantum size effect of nanoscale magnesium oxide, the application in coatings can significantly improve the product performance after modification treatment.
