Application

Magnesium oxide, as an important component of magnesium stearate, not only influences its physical properties but also plays a key role in its chemical function. A chemical reaction can occur between magnesium oxide and stearic acid to produce magnesium stearate. This chemical reaction not only enhances the physical properties of magnesium stearate, such as hardness, stability, etc., but also gives it more chemical functions, such as catalysis and flame retardant.

Elimination of vanadic acid damage
The addition of magnesium oxide to heavy oil combustion eliminates the damage to the furnace chamber caused by vanadic acid in the heavy oil.

Dispersants
The vanadium inhibitor inhibits vanadium corrosion and also acts as a cleaning and dispersing agent, which effectively reduces sulphur corrosion during fuel combustion. When adding vanadium inhibitor to fuel oil, during combustion, the magnesium oxide in the vanadium inhibitor and the V2O5 produced by the harmful substances in the fuel oil will combine to form vanadium and magnesium compounds with high melting point, which will increase the melting point of the vanadium-containing ash in the gas turbine to prevent the corrosion of the harmful substances and to form a loose ash, which will be taken away by the hot flue gases.
