Application

Magnesium hydroxide has excellent buffering properties, reactivity, adsorption power, thermal decomposition properties, etc. It is a green and environmentally friendly flame retardant and additive, which is widely used in the polymer materials industry, such as rubber, plastics, fibres and resins.

Acid wastewater treatment agent

When magnesium hydroxide is used as a neutralizing agent for acidic wastewater, it has good neutralization performance, the pH value will not exceed 9, and it can make the suspended particles in it settle down quickly. The study shows that magnesium hydroxide is a kind of efficient "environmentally friendly" green and safe wastewater treatment agent.

Heavy metal remover

Magnesium hydroxide can remove many kinds of heavy metal ions in acidic wastewater. When treating wastewater, the dosage of magnesium hydroxide with particle size <30μm was 8g/L, and the dosage of <75μm was 16g/L, the four heavy metals in the treated wastewater reached the discharge standard. The smaller the particle size of magnesium hydroxide, the better the treatment effect.
