Anode material additives:
Magnesium oxide can be used as an additive or modifier for cathode materials in lithium-ion batteries to increase the energy density and cycle life of the battery by improving the structure and conductivity of the material. Nano-scale magnesium oxide is often used to improve the cyclability and charge/discharge times of batteries due to its small size effect and large surface effect.
