The Magnesium Oxide and Magnesium Hydroxide are commonly used in dry process of magnesium stearate materials.
Magnesium stearate, chemical formula C36H70MgO4 molecular weight 591.24, is an organic compound, white fine powder without sand; slightly smelly. It feels greasy in contact with skin. The application of magnesium stearate are as following:
1. It is mainly used as lubricant, anti adhesion agent and flow aid
2. It can be used as heat stabilizer of PVC, lubricant of ABS, amino resin, phenolic resin and urea formaldehyde resin.
3. This product is widely used in food additives, medicine, coatings, plastic rubber, textile and other industries, mainly as anti caking agent, emulsifier, release agent, lubricant, stabilizer, thickener, accelerator, cosmetics etc.
4. It can be used as film-forming coating material of solid preparation, thickening agent of colloidal liquid preparation, suspension agent and lubricating release agent of tablets.
