The role of adding magnesium hydroxide in magnesium stearate:
I. Improve the purity and quality of magnesium stearate
As an important raw material for the preparation of magnesium stearate, the high purity of magnesium hydroxide can ensure the quality of magnesium stearate. Through the neutralization reaction between magnesium hydroxide and stearic acid, magnesium stearate and water can be generated efficiently, this reaction process is easy to operate, the reaction conditions are mild and easy to control, and the product has high purity and stable quality.

1. Thermal stability: under high temperature environment, magnesium stearate is easy to decompose or deteriorate, while the alkaline property of magnesium hydroxide can neutralize the acidic substances in the environment, reduce the risk of decomposition of magnesium stearate, so as to prolong its service life.
